Girls' Fast Pitch

Ages 7-13

This league is designed for girls ages 7 - 13 to have a basic introduction to the fundamentals skills of fast pitch softball, including catching, throwing, hitting, pitching, and base running. There are two divisions, Scarlet for girls ages 10-13 and Gray for girls ages 7-9.

The teams consist of 12 players and 2 coaches. There will be 8 games and 1 practice a week.

A short devotional time is held prior to each game. The league concludes with a festival day that includes skills competitions, food, and awards for each player.

Registration Registrations for 2010 league will be available online and in the church brochure racks in February, 2010. They will be accepted in the Sports and Recreation office until the league fills up or April 5, 2010, whichever occurs first.
Fees Ages 7-9 Gray League $50.00 Ages 10-13 Scarlet League $60.00 Socks - $5.00 (not required)

Skill Assessment for girls ages 10-13: April 7, 2010 at 5:00pm in the First Friends gym.  Mandatory Parents' Meeting:  April 7, 2010 during skill assessments  Practices:  Thursdays at 5:00pm or 6:30pm    Games:  Saturdays at 3:15pm or 4:45pm  Festival:  June 26 at 4:45pm
