The First Friends Basketball Academy for Boys & Girls is for boys and girls who played on FFC 2009 tournament teams this past season. It is designed to give quality instruction. It will equip players with necessary skills to take their game to the next level. Each week, players will be taught individual offensive skills which they will be able to practice on their own time. Homework will be assigned weekly. Individual instruction will include dribble moves and ball handling drills, and catch and shoot techniques. The academy will also address the intangibles that can make a good player great. The academy is designed for players who are serious about improving their game and are willing to spend time on their own to achieve their goals.
